Why is every day not covered?

To put it simply, we have not had enough time to hike every section and chose the areas we wanted to see most. Planning your time efficiently is essential to having the best experience possible.  The Bernese Oberland is certainly the most crowded & popular section for good reason as the landscape is astounding. However, the eastern sections in the Uri District & sections west of Murren equally beautiful  with a combination of pastureland &, jutting peaks, and more wild & less populated terrain.  Our plan is to head back to Switzerland for a third time in the future to complete the trek.

As this website is non-profit and we rely on donations to help us with travel expenses to provide the most comprehensive  information on The Alpine Pass Route and other country's.
