Soei: (Phaya Thai, north east of Dusit Zoo), Amazing and intensely flavored Thai food that I, like many people, heard about through Mark Wiens youtube channel. I visit this restaurant on every trip to Bangkok. The new location is closest to Ari BTS (open 10am-9:30pm). Travel to Victory Monument or close to Khao San Rd then take taxi. Order soft shell crab or Pla Goong pao (shrimp) look at google maps to locate or take bts to Ari and take taxi. +66 81-563-3131 (Closed Saturdays & during Songkran)
Krua Apsorn: (Banglamphu): This always busy Thai institution serves the best Tom Yum Gong soup with prawns that I have ever had. They also serve amazing thai crab curry with red chili and a load of other Centrai thai dishes. Don't miss this restaurant!!! (Closed Sundays). Located about a 10-15 minute walk east of the Grand Palace. Open during Songkran
Saeng Chai Pochana, 762 5-6 Sukhumvit Rd, late night thai seafood open late night, 7pm-4am daily in Sukhumvit) red sign with yellow letters. In between Phrom Phong & Ekkami BTS near Soi 47 across st from Dominos Pizza. Take BTS to Phrom Phong BTS, walk towards Ekkami BTS on right side of street, against traffic for 8 min, Saeng Chai Pochana on right (has a ton of 4x6 pictures of Thai celebrities on its walls).
Nueng 33: A great street food stall (specializes in pad kra pao, stir fry with holy basil) open 5am-5pm daily), BTS to Phrom phong, walk back towards Asok on right side of st. against traffic, make a right at Sukhumvit soi 33, 4 min walk on left, st food stall across from 7/11 and Matchbox Hostel
Rung Ruang: excellent noodle soups, open Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm, bts to Phrom Phong, walk on right side of st towards ekkami, right on soi 26, walk 2 min on right before double tree Hilton. Thai Menu includes pictures.
Sawang Noodle: Highly rated noodle soups with dumplings, skytrain to Chit lom BTS, 982 Phetchaburi rd, Bangkok, 10am-10pm daily, walk up Chit lom alley (behind BTS) for 6 min, left on Phetchaburi rd, walk 4 min, on left. (May be closed, check before visiting).

Muslim Restaurant Serving Halal Thai cuisine. Quite tasty in an old world restaurant environment. (Riverside area)
Wattana Panich (Sukhumvit/Watthana area) Closest to Ekkami BTS. A restaurant that is packed with locals and tourists featuring a Giant Wok of Beef, and tasty beef noodle soups. 20 min walk up ekkhami soi 63 just past ekkami alley 18 on right. Open 10am-8pm, daily. Open during Songkran.
Nhong rim khlong (Sukhumvit/Watthana area) about a 25 minute walk up soi 63 (walk about 5 minutes past Wattana Panich featured above), left on ekkami 21 alley/chaem chan alley. Open air restaurant/food stall is on the left next to small (and stagnant) canal, open 8:30am-4:30pm, closed Sundays and on Songrkan. It's recommended to order crab fried drunken noodle, garlic shrimp, or crab egg curry with cabbage. Can be a long wait for food. This food is really authentic and very tasty. It is worth the wait.
Prachak Roasted Duck across from Robinson dept store, close to the famous "Sky Bar", Saphin Tsakin BTS, walk north on Charoan Krung rd for 3 min on right 8:30am-20:30 daily (specializes in roasted duck in dark soy sauce over rice)
P’aor tom yum goong Located off Petchaburi soi 5. Walk up Petchaburi soi 5, make right on 4th road on soi 7 (two Pharmacies in corners) walk 150 meters on left. closed monday, open 10am-9pm. Restaurant is located across from orthodontist and Boom Boom noodles. Order: Chicken with egg noodles, shrimp dumplings with green noodles, and the famous tom yom gung. Jay Fai: world famous thai restaurant/food stall that earned a Michelin Star, 7 min walk SW of Golden Mount, open 2pm-1am Mon-Sat, google map it for exact location, Jai Fai uses the freshest ingredients and is quite delicious but it can be expensive (600-1200 bhat for some dishes).
Bamee Sawang, Thai style wontons and pork noodles, close to Chit Lom BTS.
The Local by Oam Thong (Regional Thai and International Cuisine) soi 23 about 3 min walk north of soi cowboy, open for lunch 11:30am-2:30 and 5pm-11:30pm seven days a week. Reservations are recommended!!!
Pa Eaw 3 min walk south west of Wat Pho, cross st from Wat Pho, walk south and make right on Soi Prati Noykung (sort of on the corner). Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Pa Eaw is an open air curry stall.
Sanguan Sri (Casual Restaurant located near Siam Square, close to Phloen Chit BTS, amazing curries, open 10am-3pm, closed Sundays).

Martin’s Kitchen open 24/7, daily, Sukhumvit district close to Terminal 21 mall. Try pad kra pao gai. The food is good but won't blow you away.
Prai Raya (Highly recommended Phuket style southern Thai cuisine in a cafe style restaurant) off of sukhumvit soi 8. Walk with traffic towards Nana, make left on Soi 8, walk down road for 5 min, on left 10:30am-10:30pm Daily. Call ahead for reservations.
Bamee Slow, 25 minute walk north on soi 63 from Ekkami BTS sky train. open evenings only, try the egg noodles with pork wontons
Ma Yodpak Radna (Great Pad See Ew & Noodle dishes). Another great Mark Wiens recommendation where the Pad See Ew is the star. Open for lunch and dinner Monday-Friday and dinner only, Saturday-Sunday. Located close to Ratchawat Market in Dusit area. Google map the address given in the link as I had trouble finding this place. I really liked the Pad See Ew at this establishment.

Kalpapruek (reasonably priced Thai in an elegant artsy and quiet setting) open 11am-9pm daily, multiple locations in Silom, Sukhumvit, & Central World
Best Beef A large open air Thai beef grill restaurant where you are provided a mini grill on the table to cook your own meat. Really fun to go with a group of people. Prices are around 400 bhat for generous portions of meat per person. The closest BTS is On Nut station, walk back towards Asok with traffic for about 5 minutes, Best Beef i on left, 4pm-midnight daily. The new Cheap Charlies location is also located near On Nut BTS off Soi 50
Soul Food Mahanakom Excellent thai food in cool cafe atmosphere. Close to Thong Lo BTS, walk on Left side of street with traffic towards Ekkami, make left on Soi sukhumvit 55, walk about 5 minutes on right. Open daily 5:30pm
Terminal 21 shopping mall food court (5th floor), food court.
Try stalls 4, 10, (15, vegetarian only stall), 19, 21, 22, 23, 25. Open 10am-10pm. There are far better Thai food options throughout Bangkok and in the Terminal 21 mall in general but the food court is decent.
MBK food court in MBK mall. Get off National Stadium BTS exit, exit platform 4, food court is on 6th floor 10am-10pm. Food stalls 4-6 are my favorite.
Krua Aroy Aroy (Silom): Expensive but good Massaman Thai Curries
T&K seafood & Lek & Rut (both Restaurants located in Chinatown across from each other), corner of Yaowarat & Phadung Dao rd, large street food seafood stall/restaurant with seats spilling out onto the street. It can get quite crowded and touristy. The prices are a bit high but the food is good, although not the best in Bangkok.
Supanniga Eating Room: Specializing in home cooked Thai food in an elegant and hip setting, check out this restaurant in Thong For and other Bangkok locations.
Cafe Bangrak Trendy Bangkok cafe specializing in Thai and International dishes. 4-6 Soi Saladang, Silom Road BTS stop to Silom station (on southwest corner of Lumphini Park).

I love street food stalls in Bangkok however I always forgot to document my favorite stalls names in the past and would navigate randomly depending on my location. I only started documenting names and locations of street food stalls my last two visits to Bangkok. I am still working to improve options on this section. Khao Gaeng Jake Puey: Amazing thai yellow and orange curry, Chinatown, st food stall open daily 3:30pm-9pm daily (corner of Charoen Krung & Mang Krong) st food in front of large green doors. Closed during Songkran.
Somboon Seafood sukhumvit soi 20 (Street Food cart specializing in southern Thai food, not associated with the Somboon Poochana chain) open 6pm-midnight tues-sunday, walk past Asok on right side of st, right on soi 20, walk 10 meters, next to 7 eleven, big yellow sign with red letters, st food stall
Tom Yum Goong Banglamphu: 2 blocks borth of Khao San rd, under large dark blue tent. I ate Tom Yom Going with Shrimp back in 2016 and it was incredibly rich and tasty. A small pot of tom yum goong soup will be boiling up front

I recommend you wander up and down Yaowrat's main street and into various alleyways to check out the many Street food stalls (open after 5pm) and restaurants (open for lunch & dinner). Every time I visit Yaowrat I got to Khao Gaeng Jake Puey (link above) and wonder up and down the various alleys during the day and on the main side streets at night sampling various restaurant and street food options. Some street food stalls may be closed on Mondays. I recommend you check out the many street food stalls after 17:00 that open on Mangkon Rd south and north of Yaowrat and off Soi Yaowrat 11. I have eaten several meals at the various stalls of Soi Yaowrat 11 and they are quite good.
