TREKKING TEAM PVT. LTD.
Based in Kathmandu (next to Furusato Japanese Restaurant) we used Trekking Team Pvt. Ltd as our guide company for the Jiri-Namche Bazaar section and they were incredible. They provided a skilled and friendly guide with one day's notice and are very accommodating. Their prices are also budget friendly. They have a 100 % percent rating on Tripadvisor out of 194 votes.  For a friendly and knowledgable trekking guide ask for Bim Dewan (on left).

Mingma Sherpa
Mingma guided our friends from California over the Three Passes Trail EBC section in October & November, 2013. Mingma formerly guided on mountaineering expeditions and used to reside close to Seattle, Washington. He mainly now leads small or some large trekking groups and can organize porters and lodging. He and his wife own the Hotel Sherpa View Lodge in Thadkoshi between Lukla & Ghat in the Solu Khumbu. Stoic but friendly with a frequent smile on his face, Mingma is a tremendous guide, very generous with his time and knowledge of the region, and loyal to his clients. He speaks fluent English and has several family connections along the Everest Base Camp trail. We highly recommend using Mingma as a guide in this region. He does not have an email we know of but his cell phone is 977-9842868777.

If you contact him please let him know that Tsezi's friends, Jeremy & Tracey Footer made the recommendation.

NEPAL ALTERNATIVE TREKS & EXPDITIONS Pvt.(Ltd.)
We used Nepal Alternative Treks & Expeditions to book our trip from Kathmandu to Royal Chitwan National Park. The director, Tej Bahadur Gurung picked the perfect lodging on the river next to Chitwan. Nepal Alternative Treks/Expiditions are honest, friendly, and the prices were fair. Here is a great example of Tej's diligence to customer satisfaction. At the end of our stay at Chitwan due to election time all flights and tourist buses were cancelled. We were stuck.  Tej coordinated a private driver to transport us from Sahaura (near Chitwan) to Kathmandu within a 1/2 day. Without Tej we would have missed our flight home.  ***Tej has been running a charity assisting with rebuilding his home village that was heavily damaged in the April/May, 2015 earthquakes.
