Why is there only information about Bangkok?
Although I have traveled to parts of Eastern, Central, and Southern Thailand 10 years ago my primary experience in Thailand has been in Bangkok. Therefore I decided to only focus on Bangkok recommendations with plans of traveling all around Thailand in the future to bring you more thoughts and information on the entire country. I have been in Bangkok 4 times and last visited the "Big Mango" in April, 2018.
This Bangkok section primarily focuses on food recommendations, sights & activities, transportation/getting there & away, coffee/tea bars, additional resources, and safety/travel tips. I plan on adding a section on great bars and clubs in Bangkok soon. Bangkok is one of the best cities on earth for food, particularly street food and although the Thai Government has made efforts to crack down on street vendors, the street food scene is still thriving. Although I have visited many, it is nearly impossible to go to every street food/restaurant, bar, and sights recommendations in Bangkok. I have done the research for you and have included information for for restaurants, sights, and street food stalls I both have and have not visited. I will do my best to update this page as businesses close/relocate and new activities and food spots arise. If you feel I need to add a restaurant, street food vendor, bar, etc please email me with your thoughts.
In providing recommendations of various food stalls, restaurants, coffee/tea shops, and sights, I have included links to travel websites, travel blogs, travel vlogs, and google maps locations to provide visitors detailed information on location, opening/closing times, and other details.
